Bibian's Beach House is an attractive, detached, privately owned, traditional Bajan-style beachfront villa.

PLAN OF BIBIAN'S & FIDJI BEACH HOUSES:-

THE LOCATION:-

Located in Fitts Village* - within the parish of St. James - on the beautiful ‘platinum’ west coast of Barbados, this property looks directly out on to the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

For basic essentials there is a mini mart at the petrol station less than a 5 minute walk away from Bibian's Beach House, and a supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. There is a deli in the shopping complex by the supermarket and it is open for breakfast and lunch.

The airport is a 30 minute drive and the bustling capital of Bridgetown is 20 minutes away by car. A 10 minute drive north will bring you to all of the amenities in Sunset Crest & Holetown.

Buses run frequently from the stops that are close by Bibian's Beach House and they have a set rate of BDS$ 1.50 (50p) to any destination in Barbados. Taxis are readily available and there is a reputable taxi stand only 3 doors down. An even better way of getting around Barbados is to hire a car. The owners of Bibian's Beach House also run a leading car rental company based on the west coast. They offer discounts to those staying at the beach house along with free delivery and collection…and a free map.

Several tennis courts are available for hire and 2 world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach.

* Fitts Village is a fishing area which extends towards the neighbouring Paynes Bay Fishing Market. It also boasts a very select group of restaurants, including Il Tempio which overlooks the Caribbean Sea. This place of fine dining is the only Italian restaurant in the district and is just one of a few Italian restaurants in all of Barbados.

The Fitts Village area contains several reefs, and with clear blue waters, it is good for snorkelling. Occasionally you may spot a turtle surfacing for a breath of air. The beaches along the west coast are excellent for swimming. This is typically a quiet beach, and it is the ideal spot to relax with a good book under the shade of a tree or enjoy the sea and sun.

Picnic benches are scattered among the Casuarina trees lining the shore, and to the north is a small, open esplanade.

THE ACCOMMODATION:-

BIBIAN'S BEACH HOUSE has a private shaded veranda - complete with a hammock, a dining table & chairs, a lamp, reclining chairs, a side table and a bench seat. The veranda looks down on to a private patio - furnished with a table & chairs, a sunshade and loungers - and out to the peaceful beach and the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The house is shaded from the afternoon sun by mature trees that line the beach.

The air-conditioned master bedroom has a romantic, antique, mahogany queen size bed dating back to the early 1900's. This room benefits from an en suite shower/W.C. room and there is a separate shower/W.C. room off the hallway.

The second air-conditioned bedroom offers 2 single beds that can be made up as a king size bed.

Towels and bed linen can be found in the closets of each bedroom and there are ceiling fans in the house.

The well-equipped kitchen is fitted with an oven & hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, a coffee maker, blender, kettle, toaster and an iron & ironing board.

A washing line and a washing machine are located in the shared patio area that separates Bibian’s Beach House and Fidji Beach House. There is an outdoor shower and a BBQ grill is also available.

The dark wooden floors and white cane sofa, chairs, coffee table and dining table & chairs in the lounge complete this lovely holiday home.

Other facilities include a TV (local channel only), a CD player, radio, a DVD player, a hairdryer and a telephone – for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls – which are free.

A small safe is also provided for guests' valuables.

Rudy, the owner, or his wife Denise, will give you a warm Bajan welcome on your arrival at Bibian’s Beach House and they will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.

The RATES (in pounds sterling) for renting Bibian's Beach House are:-

1^st June 2010- 31^st October 2010	SPECIAL OFFER:- Up to 2 people sharing 1 bedroom: Ł 94.00 per night. Up to 4 people: Ł 99.00 per night.
1^st November 2010- 14^th December 2010	Up to 4 people: Ł 110.00 per night.
15^th December 2010- 14^th April 2011	Up to 4 people: Ł 126.00 per night.
15^th April 2011- 14^th December 2011	Up to 4 people: Ł 110.00 per night.

The rates shown above include all taxes, gas, electricity (including air-conditioning) linen and towels (including beach towels).

THE ABOVE RATES (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SPECIAL OFFER) ARE REDUCED BY Ł 16.00 PER NIGHT WHEN BIBIAN'S BEACH HOUSE IS BOOKED TOGETHER WITH FIDJI BEACH HOUSE.

A pre-arranged transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Bibian’s Beach House. (Approx. 40 minute drive. BDS$ 65-BDS$ 80).

Maid/laundress service: US$ 30 per day (payable locally).

A deposit cheque or Banker's Draft for 25% is required to secure a booking.

Please not that deposit payments are non refundable.

Once I have received your deposit payment I will send you a Booking Confirmation.

A cheque or Banker's Draft for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival at Bibian's Beach House.

"As soon as I arrived at Bibians I was taken aback with the lovely 'feel' of the house. Bibian's was even better than I remembered it from our stay 2 years ago. I had forgotten just how nice it is ! The beach was a lot wider and less rocky than 2 years ago which was a major advantage ! We really felt as if we had our own private beach. It was just perfect !! There were just a few people passing by and looking and envying Bibians.

We made several visits to different beaches but I was always eager to get back to our little haven at Bibians.

Unfortunately, we have had to book elsewhere for Xmas and New Year and would have loved for us all to be staying at Bibians and Fidji, but they are already booked.

The locals on Fitts Village beach are so friendly and we did not get hassled to buy things as on so many of the other beaches. Perhaps because we made good friends with them !

We will definitely be booking to stay at Bibians again !"

Bibians Beach House ...the most relaxing vacation ever.

We were met by the owners and they were very helpful and just a ‘phone call away for any questions.

Taxi service is easily available and we used the bus service...it was great fun !

It was a great place we shared with my brother and sister-in-law. The cleanest and most homey feeling place I have been. Really it felt like home the first day we arrived. Enough room and privacy for the four of us.

Close to the Supermarket Jordans, where you can buy everything you need & to the fish market for daily fresh fish.

We cooked daily and ventured out for dinners a few times during the week. You must bus or cab to a restaurant...but everything is so close and there is so much to choose from.

We travelled on the bus as much as possible to experience daily living. The bus stop is right there. It is affordable and safe. We met a lot of helpful and entertaining people along the way !

I loved this location as it was very private, quiet and restful. The sound of the ocean was amazing.

What a great cottage ! We loved sitting on the porch looking at the perfect crystal turquoise ocean. We swam 3 times a day because it was right in front of us !

The cottage was comfortable, Denise and Rudy were very helpful. We are ‘foodies’ and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking meals, even grilling fish on the barbeque !

We would definitely return to Bibians Beach House if we are in Barbados.

The cottage was perfect in every detail. It is more than a 'rental'. A woman's touch is evident. The setting is wonderful. Your write-up was very thorough. Often vacation rentals show only a photo or two, leaving much to the hopeful imagination, while the reality is often a let down. Not so with your promotion.

The owner was most gracious and accommodating, seemingly always available and responsive. His car rental was inexpensive and served us perfectly. Why go to anyone else when he gives doorstep service?

We loved the location, too. Quiet, and island center to give good reach to north or south destinations. There's WAY more to Barbados than we had anticipated. First-time visitors should expect to find much more than the physical size of the island suggests. This is not a sleepy dot of land in the Windwards.

Local calls were free and we were able to pick up internet from the cottage. Maybe it's a seasonal thing, but I didn't experience any bugs. My partner seems to attract them and so lit a coil or two, but I'd rate it as a non-issue. Many Caribbean beaches are infested with no-see-ums, a real problem. None of that here".

We all had the most wonderful time at Bibians and Fidji Beach Houses. It was all absolutely perfect.

We made full use of the lovely veranda overlooking the beach at Bibians, cooking local fish on the BBQ every night bought from the local fish market.

We had monkeys visiting us every day and had a turtle come right in - swimming up to the beach in front of us.

My granddaughter helped the local fisherman rescue their sprats from the nets right on the beach.

The houses were traditional and cosy and Rudy was on call if needed".
