Bliss Villa - For up to 6 people.  

Bliss Villa is an attractive, spacious, detached, privately owned villa - with its own swimming pool and sun deck.

 

THE LOCATION:-

St James BeachSituated in a quiet, palm tree-lined residential avenue in Sunset Crest - within the parish of St. James - on Barbados’ beautiful 'platinum' west coast. The villa is only a 6 minute walk from the superb white sandy beaches - washed by the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea - where many water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling are available.

Two world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are  within easy reach and an excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located within Sunset Crest & Holetown. Other amenities including the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre - with its shops, cafes & cinemas, plus lots more - bars, banks, a supermarket, Post Office, medical centres, a cyber café and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops - are also within easy walking distance.

 

THE ACCOMMODATION:-

Bliss Villa PoolBliss Villa is tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout, and the open-plan living and dining rooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

Lounge looking towards VerandaThe living room - which is accessed by 2 sets of French doors - opens out to the shaded veranda furnished with a table and 6 chairs - ideal for al fresco dining and watching the spectacular sunsets. The veranda offers views to the pool, sun deck and the private landscaped tropical gardens located at the front of the villa.

The patio area and sundeck have the addition of 2 sun loungers and a garden seat. A charcoal BBQ is also provided for guests’ use.

Guests staying at Bliss Villa also have free access to the pool at The Beach House (where there is free wireless Internet access) - only a 6 minute walk away. 

The living room offers a flat screen cable TV, a DVD player, 2 coffee tables, 2 cane sofas, armchairs and a sofa bed – which allows this room to be used as an extra sleeping area for up to 2 people.

The dining room offers a cane table and 6 chairs, plus a bar with 2 stools and a wine rack. The bar area offers easy access to the kitchen via an archway, giving continuity and an open feel to the 2 rooms. Dining Room

Other facilities include a telephone for accepting incoming calls and for making outgoing local calls - which are free. Wi-Fi Internet access is also available for guests.

KitchenThe well-equipped kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, an oven & hob, a microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, an iron & ironing board, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is a washer/dryer in the laundry room that is located next to the kitchen, and there is a rotary washing line to the rear of the villa.

Master BedroomThe air-conditioned master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps, a vanity unit with a hairdryer, a chest of drawers and a ceiling fan. A small safe is provided for guests’ valuables. This bedroom benefits from an en suite shower/w.c. room and there is a separate shower/w.c. room off the hallway.

The second air-conditioned bedroom offers beds that can be made up as a king size or 2 singles. It is fitted with wardrobes, a vanity unit, bedside table and lamp, a chest of drawers and a ceiling fan.

There is a parking space inside the gate at Bliss Villa, should you wish to hire a car during your stay.  

Louis, the owner's representative, will meet and greet you on your arrival at Bliss Villa. He will give you a warm Bajan welcome and he will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your holiday in Barbados.

To calculate the cost per person, please divide the rates by the number of people sharing.

  2 to 4 people sharing 2 bedrooms: £ 126.00 per night.

                             5 people: £ 136.00  per night.

                             6 people: £ 146.00 per night.

MINIMUM STAY 7 NIGHTS

 

Up to 4 people: £ 183.30 per night.

       5 people: £ 192.80 per night.

       6 people: £ 202.20 per night.

 

 

3rd January 2013 -
14th April 2013

 

 

Up to 4 people: £ 178.50 per night.

       5 people: £ 189.00 per night.

       6 people: £ 199.50 per night.

 

 

For bookings of more than 14 nights at Bliss Villa a discount of 5% is applicable for any subsequent nights.

Bliss Villa and Aqua Bliss are located next door to each other and they are owned by the same people. If they are rented together a discounted rate will apply.

The rates shown above include all taxes, maid service once a week, electricity (including air-conditioning), linen and towels (including beach towels).

YOU WILL HAVE SOLE USE OF THE VILLA REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:-

A pre-arranged transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Bliss Villa. (Approx. 40 minute drive. BDS$ 65-BDS$ 80).

A welcome pack of groceries can be ordered to your specification. It will be delivered to the villa prior to your arrival and you will be required to pay for the goods after you arrive.

HOW TO BOOK/TERMS & CONDITIONS:-

Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. (This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business).

A deposit cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for 25% is required to secure a booking.

Once I have received your deposit payment I will send you a Booking Confirmation, together with my 'Car Hire' and 'Before you Travel' information.

A cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to your arrival at Bliss Villa.

Should the booking be made less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date at the accommodation, the full payment will be due.

Full payment must be completed before your stay commences. Therefore, any ‘late’ bookings must be made and finalised no less than 10 days prior to your arrival at Bliss Villa.

The following cancellation charges apply:-

 

Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of deposit.

Cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date – Loss of 100% of the total cost.

As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday.

"Great villa.


Having been to Barbados more than 20 times I have finally found somewherecomfortable, private, clean, and well equipped.

The villa is located on a quiet residential street in Sunset Crest, within walking distance of Holetown beaches, restaurants and shops.

A large lounge area, great outdoor seating terrace and BBQ. Lovely pool.


We were greeted by Louis who was very pleasant and informal, and Emerald the maid, worked well without ever getting in our way.


Both bedrooms are a good size, 1 with en-suite, both with air-con.


The facilities were very good, well equipped, reliable internet wifi, CD player and ipod dock. 

 I loved everything about the villa and am sure we will return.
