# 10 Palm Beach - For up to 3 people.

Sorry, no children accepted.  

This elegant, modern condominium is one of just 14 privately owned suites set within lush tropical gardens with a freshwater swimming pool, sun deck and loungers. A BBQ is also available for guests’ use.

 

THE LOCATION:-

Palm Beach Condominiums are situated on St. James' beach in Holetown on Barbados’ beautiful ‘platinum’ west coast. Many water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling are available locally.

Several local tennis courts are available for hire and 2 world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach.

An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located in Sunset Crest & Holetown. Other amenities including the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre - with its shops, cafes & cinemas, plus lots more - bars, banks, a supermarket, Post Office, medical centres, a cyber café and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops - are also within easy walking distance.

THE ACCOMMODATION:-


Lounge Area# 10 Palm Beach is located on the ground floor (the 3rd condo in from the end of the block that's close to 1st Street - please see the map above), therefore it benefits from being situated in a quiet position in relation to the road.

PoolThis condo is tastefully furnished and high standards of decoration and cleanliness prevail.

The large furnished veranda - complete with a ceiling fan - leads out to the gardens and swimming pool (attractively illuminated at night) down to the beach and the enticing blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.

LoungeThe comfortable, spacious lounge/dining room is equipped with a ceiling fan, a tower fan, a 32" flat screen satellite TV, a DVD player/MP3 player, a radio/CD player, a sofa bed & armchairs and a dining table & chairs. This room benefits from direct access to the dressing area and bathroom.

The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an oven & hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, a ceiling fan, an iron & ironing board, crockery, cutlery and glassware and a telephone - for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls - which are free, There is an additional telephone in the bedroom.

BedroomThe large air-conditioned bedroom offers beds that can be made up as a king size or 2 singles, a ceiling fan and an en suite dressing area - with a ceiling fan and ample wardrobe space - that leads into the bath/shower/w.c. room. A safe is also provided for guests' valuables.

There are parking spaces to the rear of the condos should guests wish to hire a car during their stay. Alternatively there are car parking spaces directly outside on the road.

BeachPat, a friend of the owner - who lives in one of the neighbouring condominiums - will meet and greet you on your arrival at Palm Beach and she will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.

The rates shown above include all taxes, gas, electricity (including air-conditioning), maid service (6 times a week in high season and 3 times a week in low season), linen and towels (including beach towels).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:-

A pre-arranged transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Palm Beach. (Approx. 40 minute drive. BDS$ 65-BDS$ 80).

A welcome pack of groceries can be ordered to your specification. It will be delivered to the condo prior to your arrival and you will be required to pay for the goods after you arrive.

HOW TO BOOK/TERMS & CONDITIONS:-

Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. (This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business).

A deposit cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for 25% is required to secure a booking.

Once I have received your deposit payment I will send you a Booking Confirmation, together with my 'Car Hire' and 'Before you Travel' information.

A cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to your arrival at # 10 Palm Beach.

Should the booking be made less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date at the accommodation, the full payment will be due.

Full payment must be completed before your stay commences. Therefore, any ‘late’ bookings must be made and finalised no less than 10 days prior to your arrival at # 10 Palm Beach.

The following cancellation charges apply:-

 

Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of deposit.

Cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date – Loss of 100% of the total cost.

As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday.

"We were delighted with our accommodation. There was plenty of space and it was well decorated and furnished. Maid service was outstanding. We had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful holiday ! The location of these condos is perfect, right on the beach yet near all the essentials i.e. supermarket, bank, bus stop etc. and no need to hire a car. The on site manager, Pat, was so helpful. When I broke my own hairdryer Pat was able to supply a temporary replacement within minutes. She also booked a return taxi to the airport for us, checked us in online and printed our boarding cards ! What a great service."

"Palm Beach is in a fabulous location right on the beach but close to the bars and restaurants in 1st & 2nd Street.

That said we never heard any noise from the bars. The apartment is very well-equipped and has a maid service provided. You have the beauty of having cooking facilities and a fridge etc.

The pool area was well-maintained and there were plenty of sun beds available.

We spent a great day at Mullins Beach as well as eating out at the beach side restaurant one night. The food was as always fabulous. We also splashed out for the Sunday brunch at the nearby Sandy Lane. Expensive but worth it for a treat!  You just won't need to eat for the next few days ! Other restaurants worth a mention are Cariba and The Mews. Great meals and service in both.

There are so many great restaurants in and around Holetown you really are spoilt for choice which is why we opted to stay in an apartment rather than an expensive all inclusive hotel.

We also had a great trip swimming with the turtles - great fun ! A must is a visit to Lexy's piano bar too.

All in all Holetown is a great place and Palm Beach is in one of the beach locations to enjoy it ! Hope to return soon !! "

"We were picked up on time at the airport by William, and met by Pat at # 10 who showed us around the condo.

# 10 Palm Beach is very clean, modern and user-friendly. Vita, the cleaner for # 10, was very friendly. She even brought us Christmas lights to decorate the veranda. The bed linen and towels were changed frequently, and she left a fresh set for us over Christmas when she wouldn't be there.

It is useful having the dressing area off the bedroom as it remains cool from the air-conditioning in the bedroom - plus there's a fan in the dressing area - essential when getting dressed to go out.

The kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery and it's all of a high standard.

The pool was kept clean and it was a nice quiet place to be.

Having stayed in a variety of hotels on the same stretch of beach, the Palm Beach condos remain our firm favourite for their location, atmosphere and peace & quiet.

This is the second visit for us at Palm Beach, and for value for money and service from Irene at the start, Vita our cleaner and Pat on site, it is unbeatable. From now on we won't stay anywhere else".

We have just got back from our memorable holiday in Barbados, and, in addition to us having completed the questionnaire you have sent to us, I could not let the occasion pass without adding my appreciation in respect of all the information which you kindly provided  - it enabled us to settle in straight away.

 There was nothing the owner hadn't thought of in condo # 10 and it was the best equipped one we had ever seen.

 Pat was an absolute gem on our arrival at the condo after our flight delay.

Still, by the following morning we had forgotten about those trials and tribulations as we gazed out over the Caribbean.

Pat also let us check in on line using her computer, and also print out our boarding cards for our return flight. She also, of her own volition phoned the airport to check the flight was on time and she was advised that it had been held up at Trinidad and would be arriving 3 ½ hours later than scheduled – so we had an extra 3 ½ hours at the super accommodation – what a hardship!!! Without her initiative we would have had a long wait at the airport – so she really deserves a gold star for that!

"All in all Irene, our holiday was brilliant. The condo was great, the people we met were lovely, and it was very personal staying there.  You can stay at any hotel, and they wouldn't give you the familiarity we experienced at the condos. My only problem now is that I need to win the lottery to buy one of my own, and as I don't even do it....!!

Harold, the mini bus driver, picked us up at the airport as we requested, and Pat met us when we arrived at Palm Beach.

Sonia, the cleaner, kept the place spotless. There were beach towels exchanged whenever she cleaned which was every other day, and she even gave us tips such as to take our empty bottles back to the bottle bank to get some money back.

The grounds were kept very tidy. Pat's partner, Chris, did a grand job, and was very sweet when I burnt my back and he picked me some Aloe Vera fresh from the garden ! The pool is a decent size and it was well tended. We lived round the pool from 7am !
 
We purchased take-away breakfasts from the deli at the top of the road, and that was great.

We kept the condo right up until the time we had to leave, just before 3pm. That was great, and at no charge like all these hotels. Even if we had had to leave because of incoming guests, Pat had a condo lined up for us to shower in before leaving".

"Greetings Irene,

Bob, Gabriel, Luc and I very much enjoyed our stay at Palm Beach.  The condo suited us very well.  While the kitchen is small, it is functional and very well equipped.  The kingsize bed was very comfortable (Bob and I are considering switching our home mattress to foam now) and the many fans ensured that we did not have to turn on the air conditioning once!  We spent a lot of time on the condo's veranda as well as by the pool and on the beach, playing cards, swimming, snorkeling.  The boys are well on their way to becoming amphibians!

 Pat and Chris, Vita, as well as the other residents, were very welcoming, helpful and made us feel comfortable.

 Barbados was a treat to visit and Bajans are open, friendly and confident. We explored the east coast for a couple of days, with its wild ocean, stunning and invigorating winds.

 We hope to return to Barbados and Holetown some day.
