THE LOCATION:-

Sunset Crest
on Barbados’
beautiful ‘platinum’ west coast, Yellow Alamanda is one of 11
terraced properties situated in a quiet cul-de-sac.
The owners
have recently completed an extensive renovation of this property. This apartment
Two world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are a 5 minute drive and a 5 minute walk respectively. An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are within walking distance - as are other amenities, including the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre - with its shops, cafes & cinemas, plus lots more - bars, banks, a supermarket, Post Office, medical centres, a cyber café and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops.

THE ACCOMMODATION:-
There is an open-plan lounge/kitchen area. Facilities include a ceiling fan, a standing fan, a 32" flat screen Cable TV, a dining table & chairs, a 3 seater sofa (which can be converted to a bed suitable for sleeping 1 person over the age of 8 or 2 people under the age of 8), 2 rattan armchairs and a coffee table. There is a 'Pay-as-you-go' mobile 'phone (with associated charger) in the apartment so that, if you wish, you will be able to make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls. The 'phone is provided with BDS$ 25 worth of credit.
A washing machine is located in the laundry room - which is located off the bedroom - and there is a washing line to the rear of the apartment.
A cot (plus bedding & a mosquito net) are available at the rental rate of BDS$ 50 per week (payable locally).
Should you wish to hire a car during your stay, there is a parking space in front of the apartment. The owner, Helen, will meet and greet you on your arrival at the apartment and she will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.

The rates shown above include all taxes, maid service (twice a week except for the period 1st September – 15th December when it will be once a week), electricity (including air-conditioning), linen and towels (including beach towels). If you wish to see how much the prices equate to in a different currency, please enter the pounds sterling (GBP) rates that are shown above into a currency converter such as the one available online at www.xe.com/ucc/ YOU WILL HAVE SOLE USE OF THE APARTMENT REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY. Price promise: You should not find this property advertised for less anywhere else. If you do, please let me know. OPTIONAL EXTRAS:- A pre-arranged transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Yellow Alamanda. (Approx. 40 minute drive. Cost approx. BDS$ 80). A welcome pack of groceries can be ordered to your specification. It will be delivered to the apartment prior to your arrival and you will be required to pay for the goods after you arrive. Additional maid service. BDS$ 60 per day (payable locally). Rental of a DVD player and/or a blender. BDS$ 24 per item per week with a refundable deposit of BDS$ 60 per item per week if the items are returned in good working order (payable locally). RESTRICTIONS:- Strictly no smoking inside the property.HOW TO BOOK/TERMS & CONDITIONS:- If you would like to make a booking for Yellow Alamanda please contact Bajan Retreats on 01293 426832 (24 hour telephone/voicemail) or by e-mail to:- barbados@relaxingretreats.co.uk Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. (This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business). A deposit cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for 25% of the total cost is required to secure a booking. Once I have received your deposit payment I will send you a Booking Confirmation, together with my 'Car Hire' and 'Before you Travel' information. A cheque (or Banker's Draft/International Money Order if you are not resident in the UK) for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to your arrival at Yellow Alamanda. Should the booking be made less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date at the accommodation, the full payment will be due. Full payment must be completed before your stay commences. Therefore, any ‘late’ bookings must be made and finalised no less than 10 days prior to your arrival at Yellow Alamanda. The following cancellation charges apply:-
Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of deposit. Cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date – Loss of 100% of the total cost. As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended. 10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday.GUEST BOOK.
