This villa is only a 6 minute walk from the superb white sandy beaches - washed by the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea - where many water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling are available. The villa is also only a 6 minute walk from The Beach House (formerly The Baku Beach Club) where guests have free access to the pool, bar and restaurant (guests will receive a 15% discount on food and drinks). Several local tennis courts are available for hire and 2 world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach. An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located within Sunset Crest & Holetown. Other amenities including bars, banks, a supermarket, post office, medical centres, a cyber café and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops - are also within easy walking distance. Bliss Villa is tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout, and the open-plan living and dining areas are equipped with ceiling fans.
The dining
area offers a cane table and 6 chairs, plus a bar with 2 stools and a wine
rack. The bar area offers easy access to the kitchen via an archway, giving
continuity and an open feel to the 2 rooms.
Other facilities include a telephone for accepting incoming calls and for making outgoing local calls - which are free. High speed Internet access is also available for guests. The well-equipped kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, an oven & hob, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, an iron & ironing board, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is a washer/dryer in the laundry room that is located next to the kitchen, and there is a rotary washing line to the rear of the villa.
The second air-conditioned
bedroom offers beds that can be made up as a king size or 2 singles. It
is fitted with wardrobes, a vanity unit, bedside table and lamp, a chest
of drawers and a ceiling fan.
The villa is set within its own tropical gardens with a private swimming pool. There is a furnished, shaded veranda at the front with a dining table and 4 chairs - ideal for al fresco dining - plus 2 comfortable patio chairs and a 2-seater cane chair. The patio area and sun deck has the addition of 2 sun loungers and a garden seat. A charcoal barbecue is also provided for guests’ use. There is a private parking space directly outside the gate, should guests wish to hire a car during their stay. The owner's relative, Denise, will meet and greet you on your arrival at Bliss Villa. Denise will give you a warm Bajan welcome and she will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.

(This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business). A deposit cheque or Banker's Draft for 25% is required to secure a booking. Please note that deposit payments are non-refundable. Once I have received your deposit payment, I will send you a Booking Confirmation together with some car hire details which include a 10% discount on selected car rentals.A cheque or Banker's Draft for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival at Bliss Villa. As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended. 10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes unique offers for use on my friends’ personalised boat trips, as well as maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday.

Harold, the taxi driver that you had pre-booked, was waiting for us at the
other end (lovely chap) and Denise was waiting for us at the villa. Because
Monday was a Bank Holiday, Denise was very helpful and drove Maureen round
to the store so we could stock up on provisions. I had a big birthday (60)
on the Wednesday and Maureen had arranged a surprise helicopter trip round
the island for us and that was rounded off by dinner at The Tides. All in
