Golden Anchorage is a lovely, privately owned apartment situated in a pleasant palm-tree lined avenue in Sunset Crest on Barbados’ beautiful ‘platinum’ west coast.

It is less than a 5 minute walk from the superb white sandy beaches - washed by the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea - where many water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling are available. The villa is also only a 5 minute walk from The Beach House (formerly The Baku Beach Club) where guests have free access to the pool, bar and restaurant.

Several local tennis courts are available for hire and 2 world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach.

An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located nearby. Other amenities, including bars, banks, a supermarket, post office, medical centres, a cyber café and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops - are also within a few minutes walk.

Golden Anchorage has a comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen area. Facilities include a ceiling fan, 2 x 2-seater rattan sofas, a coffee table, TV (local channel only), a DVD player, portable radio/CD/MP3 player, a small safe for guests’ valuables and a telephone - for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls – which are free.

The well-equipped kitchenette includes an oven & hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, an iron & ironing board, a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

The air-conditioned bedroom – furnished with fitted wardrobes, a vanity unit and twin beds (that can be made up as a king size or 2 singles) - leads into the en suite shower/w.c. room.

The shaded veranda at the front is furnished with a dining table and 4 chairs. A sunshade and 2 chairs are provided for relaxing. There is a small lawn at the front of the apartment and a small fenced area of lawn with a washing line to the rear. Should you wish to hire a car during your stay, there is ample parking space on the drive in front of the apartment.

The owner's Barbados agent will meet and greet you on your arrival at the apartment and she will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.

Price promise: You should not find this property advertised for less anywhere else. If you do, please let me know.

The RATES (in pounds sterling) for renting Golden Anchorage are:-

Minimum booking 7 nights. Prices on application for stays of less than 7 nights.

Up to 2 people: Ł 33.50 per night.

1st July -

31st August

Up to 2 people: Ł 28.50 per night.

1st September -

14th December

Up to 2 people: Ł 35.70 per night.

15th December -

1st May

Up to 2 people: Ł 50.00 per night.

The rates shown above include all taxes, maid service (once a week), electricity (including air-conditioning), linen and towels (including beach towels).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:-

A pre-arranged taxi transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Golden Anchorage. (Approx. 40 minutes transfer time).

A welcome pack of groceries can be ordered to your specification. It will be delivered to the apartment prior to your arrival and you will be required to pay for the goods after you arrive.

Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. (This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business).

A deposit cheque or Banker's Draft for 25% of the total cost is required to secure a booking.

Please note that deposit payments are non-refundable.

Once I have received your deposit payment, I will send you a Booking Confirmation together with some car hire details which include a 10% discount on selected car rentals.

A cheque or Banker's Draft for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival at Golden Anchorage.

As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes 2 unique offers for use on my friends’ personalised boat trips, as well as maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday.
