Set within 5 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, facilities include a 25 metre freshwater swimming pool, a poolside bar and Chinese restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and a take-away service. Located in a quiet residential avenue in Sunset Crest within the parish of St. James on Barbados' beautiful ‘platinum’ west coast, the superb white sandy beaches - washed by the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea - are only a 6 minute walk away.Many water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling are available locally. Several local tennis courts are available for hire and 2 world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach. |

An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located
in Sunset Crest and Holetown. Other amenities including bars, banks, a supermarket, medical
centres, a post office, cyber cafe and an air-conditioned shopping mall - with duty free shops - are also within
easy walking distance.
# 430 Golden View is a lovely, modern apartment located on the 3rd (top) floor. The spacious, comfortable lounge/dining room opens out to the private balcony – with pull-down blinds, a table and partially reclining armchairs - overlooking the gardens and offering fabulous views of the Caribbean Sea and tropical sunsets. Facilities include a dining table and chairs, coffee tables, a sofa, 2 rattan chairs - (1 of which is a rocker) for use on the balcony or in the lounge - a hi-fi CD player, a DVD player and cable TV. There are ceiling fans, a portable standing fan and a telephone - for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls - which are free.
The air-conditioned bedroom offers 2 single divan beds, wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps, fitted units and an en suite shower/w.c. room. A hairdryer is provided for guests' use. The reception desk at Golden View is manned on a 24-hour basis. There are 2 elevators and a communal coin-operated laundry for guests' use. A friend of the owners will give you a warm welcome on your arrival at # 430 and she will be happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.
The rates shown above include all taxes, maid service (once a week), electricity (including air-conditioning), linen and towels (except beach towels). OPTIONAL EXTRA:- A pre-arranged taxi transfer from Grantley Adams Airport to Golden View (Approx. 40 minutes transfer time). RESTRICTIONS:- No pets. No smoking in the apartment. (This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business). A deposit cheque or Banker's Draft for 25% is required to secure a booking. Please note that deposit payments are non-refundable. Once I have received your deposit payment, I will send you a Booking Confirmation together with some car hire details which include a 10% discount on selected car rentals. A cheque or Banker's Draft for the balance will be required 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival at # 430 Golden View. As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended. 10 to 14 days before you arrive in Barbados you will receive a useful information pack that includes 2 unique offers for use on my friends’ personalised boat trips, as well as maps and many general tips designed to help you get the most out of your holiday. I have
personally visited all of the properties that are currently shown on my
web site (most of the photographs were taken by my husband and myself),
therefore the information I supply to you will be as
accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date as possible. Some minor variations
may occur as a result of changes made by the owners.
